I wanted something to supplement the stock speakers in my Town and Country. I did expect more bass from this product but maybe I was expecting too much. I had two slim 10" Memphis Audio subs in my truck with a 300W RMS amp and those hit harder than this thing does. I definitely think the watt rating on this is an exaggeration. Still for what it is, it works, easy to install, very small space requirement and it does add depth to my stock radio. The mounts are not universal, There is only 1 rectangular shaped mount per monitor, Most vehicles have a triangular shaped mount for thier visor. There is no swivel support, You screw it into the mount until it stops, then thats all you get. There is no friction support for the swivel. The clip bar is a tad too short to fit into my visor clip. There is no angle adjustment, so they do not even look straight when installed and pulled down. It does not turn into a mirror when the monitor is off. You need to buy 2 RCA Y adapters. They should have included them or integrated it into the design. There is a power box for each monitor that has to be installed behind your stereo, That takes up a lot of room. I would recommend buying a clip on visor monitor rather than spending a lot on these. I have it installed at best buy for approximately $200. You'll have to just go off of your old stereo and just match up color to color.After it was all hooked up the DVD had no picture because of the safety in it so you can't watch a movie while you drive. So again with no installation manual it was trial and error to get the picture to come up, was finally able to figure it out. In the source menu there are alot of options, such as bluetooth, but I couldn't figure it out! There is a Mic on the front of the stereo, but have not been able to get the bluetooth function to work. If there is no bluetooth function then don't put a bluetooth function icon in the menu. Other than that the picture quality for the DVD is great and the sound quality is excellent! Installation was simple, I just had to adjust it a few times to get it into my factory position. Once started up it was great, ok screen compared to those crappy ones ive seen on ebay ie eonon. DVD's look amazing on this thing, I have it set so I dont need the emergency brake engaged to watch movies and found myself looking down a few times to admire the screen. The build quality seems fine and works nicely when putting in and ejecting a cd. It will take you a little while to configure it to get the sound just right. Im running 2 door speakers, 2 back panel speakers, 2 factory dash mounted tweeters and one sub and it sounds really nice. Wish is had settings to control the bass of the sub but for the price I cant really complain. It has 50 million ports to run tv's connect your ipod/phone or any other music device.
