Good Bass even with small speakers, and fairly good clarity.The most appealing feature in this unit is its single DIN form factor, with CD and cassette combined. This is a big deal, and I could find only a few players in the market today that offered this (Sanyo FXCD and EXCD, Legacy and Pyle). This is a major plus, and the most important reason why I chose this over all else. The price of this unit was also much lesser than a comparable Sanyo. That was the second reason that led me to this player.However, usability section, I would have to rate this player below average.
